Transfer case swap??

So guys my np203 chain is worn out and skipping teeth and I've found another 203 on Craigslist. My question is what's the best way to pull the t case to swap them. Mechanical ability isn't an issue as I've already pulled the tranny/tcase combo once before as a unit and then reinstalled it. Can you pull the t case alone fairly easily by just unbolting it from the crossmember and dropping it or will it be easier to pull the whole tranny and t case from the crossmember? I'm thinking just drop the t case. Let me know yalls thoughts. Thanks

No reason to pull the trans if it's not bad. Just just a tranny jack and a chain if you have access.

And at the point of pulling the case, I'd really be looking into swapping in a better case.

We'll eventually I'd like to run a sm465/205 combo but right now I'm just tryin to make this truck last me a few more months before I tear it down to restore.

Make sure the 203 is from the same transmission.

Maybe look at finding a 205 from behind a th350. Much better case and fairly cheap as well. Shouldn't be too hard to find one on your local craigslist or on here for that matter.
