Transfer case

Was under the Blazer today and cleaned off the ID tag on the t-case and noticed it was a NP model 241 C transfer case. Is that a common model and what are its strength and weaknesses?

2.72:1 low range, chain drive, aluminum case.

Strong case, came behind Cummins Dodge trucks (with a few differences, mainly wider chain). Weak point is the slip yoke.
