AFAIK, when the ifs trucks started. 1988 for trucks and 1992 for blazer/suburban
As stated above, unless you are talking about some of the NAPCO conversions (think 50’s), some were driver’s side, but most were passenger side.
All S10's were driver's drop. (Sorry, you didn't specify)
