Transfercase Q

I broke my 241c Transfercase and I was wondering if a 208c would work? Someone told me i have to find one that works with the overdrive in my 700r4. If not what others would work?

a 208 would bolt up and work if it came off a 700r4. no changes needed.

IMHO going from a 241 to 208 would be stepping down in strenght. the 208 has a 2.61 low and the 241 has a 2.71 low. the 208 case is weaker than the 241 case. i would rather have a 241 over a 208, but thats me

NP241=2.72 Low
