93 s-15 jimmy. It has all wheel drive. Is there a fuse for the x-fer case actuator motor because it will not engage? The button for the x-fer case has 4l and 4h on it, no neutral. No light on the button. Thanks

First, it's not all wheel drive if it has low range and is primarily RWD. AWD would be like the system in the Typhoon or Syclone, to stick with a GMC refernce. Those were both full-time AWD. Yours has a transfer case with low range=4WD.
To get to your question, yes there should be a fuse in the panel under the dash, IIRC. I can't remember what it is labeled, though. Your best bet is to check ALL the fuses using a test light, don't take them all out to look at them. Also, I would check the connection behind the switch to see if it's connected well, then to see if there is power to it, meaning the switch may be bad. Good luck with it.:D

No luck with finding the fuse. I also noticed the the front driveshaft turns while driving. Is the ok or is the front axle locked?

Did you check for power at the switch with the ign on yet? The only way to know if your front shaft is locked is to climb under there and try to turn it. It's fairly common for them to coast while driving even if they're not actuated. I foresee you needing a shop manual to wade through the wiring and find out what's wrong with your 4WD system. IIRC those will flash the lights on the switch if it's trying to engage, so I have a feeling the problem is the switch or before the switch.

Update. Finally was able to troubleshoot it today. Found that the Xfer case shift control module was bad. 4 wheel drive all better now. Dealer or junkyard item only. Found one at the junkyard. Thanks

Sounds like you lucked out finding one in the junkyard, I'm guessing it's pricey through the "stealer".:waytogo: Glad you found the problem, too.

New problem now. Goes into 4lo but not 4hi. Can hear it go into 4lo and out of 4lo when I push 4hi again I can hear the motor on the xfer case move like it was already in 4hi. Now I'm thinking that the xfer case is stuck so that it won't go into 4h. What could cause that? Thanks

If you haven't already checked it and outruled it, look into the vacuum actuator on top of the t-case.... If that's gone back, no go.
