I'm not a tranny techie guy and I'm getting another project TH400 prepped for firmer shifts and dual use full auto or manual up/down shifting at any rpm when needed, so wondering what the difference is......

What is the difference between Trans go 400 1-2 kit :

I have had this kit in my K30 for years and it has worked great.
Automatic shift; Street or full-race; Holds 1st and
2nd to any rpm; Backshifts to 2nd and 1st at any
rpm; Tow & Go and Competition combination

Supposedly new.....Versus the TransGo 400-Pro kit:

Is it worth the $10 more? Are the case protecting snap ring and alum 2-3 Acumulator piston worth it?
Pro-Race—Heavy Duty—Super Show Off.
Awesome capacity with adjustable “Classy” shifts.
Holds any gear to any RPM and backshifts with the
lever to any gear at any speed. Has case protecting
snap ring and Alum 2-3 Accumulator piston.

See page 10 for the TH400 kit description:

The first kit will shift through the gears on its own. The second kit will remain in the gear you select, kinda like a stick with no clutch. It gets old pretty quick.

Thanks Mr. Perry,
The decision is easy then, I'll go with another 1-2 kit as I want to just put it in drive and sail away. I agree, the other way would get old in 5 minutes. My friend has a full manual in his muscle car and after the short demo ride he gave me I would not even consider that option.
