so i’m building a k10 with an LS/nv4500/205 and want a tubular or plate style crossmember. long story short, i would build one, i’ve always built anything i needed but my back is completely shot. so sadly i’m just trying to get a transmember in it and pay someone to finish the truck (it’s a terrible feeling) So there’s a million c10 2wd options out there but not much for 4wd set ups…any good options?! i can’t find much of anything

I didn’t notice the back thing. Most aftermarket support is going to be for the 2wd but chances are if they had 4wd stuff it would still need some tweaking with your set up. Can you get away with the stock one? Or trying to go “pretty”?
i might be able to get away with a factory one, the couple i have r bent and smashed from using them as landing gear back in the day, so i was searching for a better option, but this build won’t be seeing much of that. So i might just source a factory one and throw it in if it’s a good fit. thanks for the link though, i’ll poke around in there

I wish ord made one like the engine crossmember, I would order that in a heartbeat.

Not gonna work in a 73-84 unless you’re going to change your transmission adapter out for a short style….Looks promising.

That W design is one of the worst ever put out by GM. They hang up on everything off road and get destroyed.
There’s been that hole in the market for years.
This truck is not stock, not sure what t case adapter looks for nv4500 and np205. It might work
The 85-91 crossmember is ideal for an nv4500 swap. The same 85+ isolator is probably still being used today lol

Oh I agree in this case, I was just tossing that out there because the website makes it seem like a bolt in replacement for any 73-87

did a nv4500/205 swap in a blazer few years ago with the 85-up mount no problems.
