Transmission help needed

To answer your question on if the driveshaft lengths will be different you are in luck.
For the 85~91 squares GM made changes in adapter dimensions across the board which took away the need for a multitude of different driveshaft lengths ultimately giving them less inventory numbers to contend with.

And yes, your 700R4/241 combo is a 27-spline variety.
Also, the adapter from the 465/205 will have a cutout provision for one of the 205’s shift rails that the 241 does not require but that should not be a problem when mating things up.

Awesome thank you guys for the help and that is good news! I have contacted the seller and plan to pick it up tomorrow. Time will tell if I use it in the suburban, my 55 6100 4wd project or my k10/20/willys pickup project but either way it seems like it will be good to have on hand. I also have 2 th350s with the figure 8 205s kicking around so I have options

I am glad someone local picked it up.
You should be happy with the setup, the seller is good people

Played with the suburban a little this morning and what I found is the tv cable adjustment is good, brake light switch adjustment seems good ( takes roughly 1/4-3/8 ish inch travel before triggering lights). Retightened pan bolts, was going to clean transmission off so I could identify leak location but apparently I’m out of brake clean, may run to car wash if I have time. Went on quick test drive again and if I have 1/4 or so throttle it stays locked up but as soon as I begin to back off the throttle it unlocks, give it 1/4 throttle again and it relocks. Give it 3/4 or so and it down shifts, back off throttle and it will shift back up then lock back up like normal but if I have very light throttle it will unlock again

Update on the suburban. Got home with enough time last night to drop the pan again and replaced the tcc solenoid as I found another thread on here where a guy was having basically the exact same issue. Also installed a new 4th gear pressure switch as it was cheap and I was in there. Put it back together with a new pan and lube locker gasket and test drove this morning. All appears to be working great and my leaks are gone minus a small weep around the dipstick tube. Will put a new seal on that next weekend but for now it seems fixed. Thanks for all your help guys! On a side note I did end up picking up that sm465 swap stuff so I have that stuff for one of my other projects now.
