I have a 89k5 with a 700r4. I just got done rebuilding my np241 transfer case and i also put on a 1" TBI spacer.

Here's the problem. Ever since i did all that, my transmission shifts really high into second. And its driving me crazy trying to figure out why!! I think it might be because of the 1" spacer i added, that it is somehow throwing off my tranny. Could this be it? And how would i fix it?

It sure could be the TV cable adjustment, and maybe the way the TV cable bracket is positioned relative to the carb now, with that spacer moving things around. Here's a little bit about the importance of having that all adjusted properly (it's not just a "kickdown" cable):

By the way, did you add the 1" spacer for needed linkage clearance, or for totally miraculous gains in both power and fuel economy at an equally miraculous low price?
