My question is this: I have a 700R4 tranny, and I wanted to know if a th350 tranny will bolt up to the engine and transfer case the same, or would I need to make modifications....

I know that the 350 is about two inches shorter than the 700r4, but other than that everything will line up. Advance Adapters makes a spacer that goes between the tranfer case and the rear of the trans and makes it work. My K5 had been converted to a 350 trans before I bought it and I converted it back to the 700r4 for the obvious reasons. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

did he use the adapter, or did it match up?
It should go right in with that adapter that was mentioned. I had this setup for a while on mine.
