Transmission Questions for the Group

Ok,

Here is are the questions?

1. What should the normal trans temp be for a TH350?
2. What should the max trans temp be for the same?
3. Where should the temp gauge be positioned in the system when running both additional cooler, factory radiator cooler, and external filter?

Am I a little paranoid??? Absolutely, have alread blown one trans and the wife will shoot me if I blow another one.

Any help would be appreciated.

200 and above is bad. Mine runs about 150 most of the time. sometimes gets as high as 180 if I'm beating on it. That's with the sender in the pan. I run a Hayden stack plate cooler (like the B&M) and it does a fine job keeping the tranny cool.
