transmission seals

so does anyone have troubles with the dipstick seals on th350 trannys, im trying to put in the seal and for some reason the hole is two small or the possibly the seal to large, napa only had the one seal in the catalog and it is a standard gm seal, am i missing something or does any one have any suggestions on how to make the dipstick tube fit in and seal.

I've had a few that were hard to get the tube back into. Lubing with ATF helps sometimes. As does putting the seal half way in, then the dipstick into the seal and pushing the entire thing down as one. I've even had to tap on the top of the tube with a deadblow a few times.
