Transmission swap on a 94 silverado

My 94 silverado has a 4l60E in it and it took a crap on me. I have a 89 GMC jimmy with a 700R4 and matching t case. My Q is can I put the 700R4 in the 4L60 E spot and not have any troubles with it working? I an cappable of makeing a new tranny cross brace if nesseccary. I just need to know if my 94 will make the 700R4 shift correctly. Also I am going to put a solid axle under the 94 and if I can get the 700R4 to work I can use a GM front axle. Which I can also take from the 89 Jimmy. It has 10b posi front and rear. I know the rear spring perches will have to be altered. Thanks.

you would have to get your computer reprogrammed and figure out how to hookup the TV cable. Tv cable would be easy just look at an older truck. The 4l60e is computer controlled, e stands for electronic. So computer would have to be reprogrammed without the trans.
