Transmission swap

How in depth is it to swap out a 7004R and swap in a sm465. I have read the article in the tech section, but it seems a little wordy for me. I am not a super mechanic. More of a shadey tree mechanic. Will i be pretty successful if I try do do this or am I going to F!@# something up? Any advice would be great.

kinda depends on your skills. there are a few member here that are currently doing a simiar swap and I just finished one. youll need to install a new flywheel, a clutch and pedal, new holes for the shifter, and prolly new driveshafts. If you have all the parts for the swap, I think its all pretty straight forward and not that difficult just time consuming.
