my buddy is looking at a 95 chevy pickup . the guy said it runs and shifts great, it just dumps tranny fluid out the vent tube so he has to keep adding.

any idea i can give him as to what it may be?

thanks

It either has to mucgh fluid in it or its getting WAY to hot.

Pull the dipstick and check the fluid level, if its good smeel the fluid to see if it smeel burnt.

It may be that the vent tube on the top is clogged. If it gets clogged, then when the fluid heats up and expands it has no where to push and pukes out the dip stick.

yeah, not the dipstick the guy said he constantly adds fluid, so being dirty wouldnt be it, so maybe its overheating, but it sounds like it starts pouring out the minute he fires it up
