If you are brave, fly out and drive back.:D

There are several ways. If you are lucky you can find someone who is making a trip with an empty trailer. I did see some people on eBay offering trailering services. Generally individuals. Can't remember how they listed.

Maybe check Craig's list here and there for someone.

OR... you could hook up with this guy, help him find a truck and he might help you get his buddy to tranpo the thing for free...

I am from Pennsylvainia and i am in search of a 69-72 K5 Blazer. (my friend owns his own trucking company so location is not much of an issue)
Im looking for a complete truck, but one that is in pieces is ok to as long as it has a title. Motor and trans dont matter to me, as i have a new built 406 sbc to stuff under the hood. Please let me know if you, or someone you know has one for sale.
Thank you
Shawn

If i had time and a decent tow rig id definitly deliver it, but that aint gonna happen:( by the way where's it located in IL?

I should be going to WY in September or so...but that's a long ways off and I can't exactly just take a trip to IL to pick up a truck for someone else.

When I sold my 65 Chevy pickup it was to a guy in New Hampshire, so it was basically a coast to coast transport. He had it hauled by one of those transport companies you see advertising on auto trader or ebay. Guy showed up to get it with a 1 ton dodge and a 4 car trailer (seems overloaded but it's his rig). Seems like he paid $800 for the cross country trip so I would figur around 1/2 for what you want.

Guy said it took 8 days to get the truck, and it was still tarped up like when it left.

I had my K5 transported from Virginia Beach, VA to Dallas for $850. It was put on a big car hauler and arrived in 2 days.

I used http://www.ezhauling.com/

I got about a dozen quotes and they were below the average price, but not quite the cheapest.

cool, i got a quote coming!

There is another site, I believe it was 123 movers, they will get you quotes from several different companies. After reading up on some of the sites and talking to the people I picked EZ Haulers due to the price and they were friendly and professional.

i'll drive it out to you ;) just need a plane ticket home and cover all fuel costs and hotel stays :)

has no engine, but i bet we could throw a badass party if you did bring it over haha. College life rules

ebay search

use search words "auto transportor" most companys are brokers...they take your order and sell it...usuaklly makeinh 100-150 for their cut. on high $$ vehicles go with a company not a broker. I shipped a M1008 CUCV to ma. the owner paid $700 about I think.
