trazer build (exhaust and paint start 10/30/14)

I normally dislike trazers but so far I'm kind of liking this one. :doah:What's happening :haha:

Thanks man. I have built two blazers in the past and I always wanted a truck cab. Then I got a free c10 truck and a $900 complete blazer, and this trazer was born. So tonight I cut 2ft off the sheet metal and cut the legs off it. The sucker is heavy for one guy but I managed to get it mocked up.

got my new compressor all plumed up so I wire wheeled all the paint and rust off. I gave it a coat of primer and one coat of black gloss paint. Then I drilled holes for the carriage bolts, spent over a hour today filing the round holes to fit a square head, I got 4 out if 6 done. It's to dark to get a picture so I will get one tomorrow. Here's a few pictures of my new compressor set up. It's a 60gal 6hp

Before you get all crazy with the bed build you might want to build a traction bar. Long rear springs with a shackle flip = axle wrap.
It'd make putting in the new crossmember a lot easier if you can just stand there and not have to do it all from underneath. Just a thought and something you'll probably have to do someday anyways...

I have one from the last blazer I built, just need to weld the hanger on and go, I should have done that before the bed but I'm itching to get this girl running again
Thanks again to Avery for help with my fuel cell, I had some questions and he helped out.

In that case.... Get off the interwebs and fab :D

Lol I just went back to work after bring off a few weeks from my son being born. Got a lot done when the kids were sleeping but now I'm basically at a standstill with a 2yo and a new born

Just do something everyday, doesn't matter if its cleaning up one little teeny tiny thing just do one thing every single day. Blow your mind what you can accomplish

Agreed. I try to do something every night after dinner. Some nights I get a crap load of stuff done, other nights I just do some good thinking/planning but it's all progress.

That's good advise, Latly iv just been collecting parts real quick afterwork. Then home for daddy duty

So I haven't updated this in a while but the truck is running and driving. Bump steer was terrible so had to go back to stock front springs. Then had to build new steering. Got the bed done, except fenders. Got fuel cell mounted and plumbed, got dash 90% done and 2/3 gauges in. Drivelines built and installed. I did some body work and bought a gallon of single stage paint today. Also welded on my rear bumper on today. Here are some pics, sorry iPhone only allows one pic per post.
