Tree pulling vid

Well I got a little video for yall.

We had to remove a tree new years eve so we could make our bonfire in my friends backyard. The tree was about 9" in diameter. We cut the 3 main roots right at the bass of the tree and that was it. We first tried it with his dads little nissan truck 84 4cyl pickup(I call it the rice burner). Well the little truck did nothing but spin the tires and want to pull the bumper off. So I went and got my truck. I put it in 4lo and get the slack out of the strap. I barely got on the gas, just enough to get it off ideal and it pulled it out. I was so disapointed, I wanted a little tug of war with it. Now I know to never cut the roots on a tree before you try and pull it out.:haha:

Well here it is. Not much but I finally got my truck on video of it doing something.

Damn i thought you had a huge tree you made into a pool :D

tree also wasn't big enough hahaha
 
i pulled down a huge tree with my k5 bout year and half ago, pics are on here somewhere haha.
 
I know thats why I am disapointed:(. I will never cut the roots on a tree again. The comentary from my friends video taping make it worse to.
I was just happy to have a video of my truck doing something, no matter how p#### it was and I thought I would share it with yall.

I wish my friend didnt delete the video of me getting out of a mud hole I made trying to pull another stuck truck out. I couldnt open the door with out pushing mud away. Wrecker wanted $250 to pull me out and me being drunk I wanted to prove him wrong, that I could still get out. Well I did after working it for about 5 minutes. Showed him I wasnt paying his $250, then showed myself how much it cost to rebuild a tranny:doah:.

That happens to alot of us .....
 
that's a fake plastic tree made my fisher-price. it's part of the "yank it out while your friends record it" playset.
the kit also includes other things to yank:
Clog in a drain - complete with plastic plumber's crack
Thorn in lion's paw - with period-accurate Androcles' Roman sandles
Heart from chest - only available in "Temply of Doom" deluxe pack.


it's a big seller and it has chinese lead-based paint. :waytogo:
 
i thought your frinds narration was funny, "what do you think he will break 1st!" so the nissan wouldn't move that! was it a 4x?

No its a 2wd. its a little truck, its almost like a 4wheeler. My friend drove it to school when he first got his liscens and about 5 of my other friends would pick up the back end and park it sideways so he couldnt get out.:haha:
 
I guess things aren't much different there than here. we'd pick up the back end of our friends truck and push it into the bushes or if he'd leave the door unlocked we'd have all kinds of fun. :D
