tree savers?

where did you get them? and what about a shackle for it?

I think hi-lift has a kit that contains a tree saver, shackle,short chain and a pair of gloves for relitively cheap. 4 wheel parts sells them.

Go to Desert Rat , the one on Rural where the Loco guys go all the time , you'll get a good price being down , and get the Warn bag . Has everything you need in one shot .

I was looking for some and couldn't find them, well I think they wanted way to much, so I went and ordered some towing slings

that's where I would up ordering from, he had some good prices.

Blazens cheapest is only $12 more than there cheapest.And its a 3"x6" strap instead of a 2"rope.Which wont protect a tree anyway.
And there shackle are 1/2 price!! WOW So If I order both I only spend $8 more w/Blazen.

I got mine from the local "Ranch N Home" farm store. They have tree savers and straps and shackles and chain and whatever you want up to 30,000 rated. Also we have a local mom-n-pop bolt store that carries shackles and all kinds of rigging including shackles at least a foot round! Just check your local yellow pages for ag supply or something like that.

The Hi-lift kit includes like a 2" tree saver and a 5/8 shackle rated for 7,000 pounds. Good enough for winching with the hi-lift but don't use it for a bigger winch.
