I tried the search but there's too many threads, posts and in order to find the numbers I need, it would take too long to go thru them til I found it.

I need the numbers for the TRE's on tie rods and draglinks for highsteer and crossover.
I want all four numbers. I understand two sets of numbers were 1 ton TRE's, so post them, too.

TIA. :wink1:

The guys here in AZ tap both sides of the draglink and tie rod for the same TRE . One tap to own/borrow , and one part number that is easier to find in town at most stores .

Hossbaby 50 , and others run 4 of the ES 2234R , short shank rh thread .

i used the long ones on my crossover, but i would go with the short ones if i did it again.

I remember some years back a few members saying they used Dodge ends. Which ones were these? And are all the ends the same diameter shank or does anyone use any thicker ones?

i completly forgot the numbers but i remember what i asked for at the parts counter---1983 dodge 1 ton 4x4---i remember in my research they were the biggest and shortest shank and the right ream for the knuckles 2010 and 2011 seem to ring a bell but i could be wrong.

ES2010L and ES2010R are the shortest rod ends with a 7/8" diameter shank. There is a rod end with a 1" shank but it is much longer.

EDIT: forgot to mention that IIRC these are used on Dodge trucks.

is there a tre that would "raise" the tie rod higher? meaning the shank is farther away from the taper? do you get me?

I don't think so and even if there were it would make the TRE weak since it would be that much more working leverage against it.

I think they make offset inserts for small clearance issues like that. Check out northwest fab.
