I am looking to do crossover on my 82k5 and I have a set of jeep dana 44 flatops. My problem is that on those knuckles the tie rod loads from the top and chevy from the bottom. Will a 1" zero rate work or will I need to look for some type of flip insert to re do the taper on it....Jason

All D44 knuckles wether dodge, chevy, jeep all load the tie rod in fromn the top.
Just get some zero rates and be done with it. If you try and taper the hole from the bottom it is going so be sloppy.
