im going to be swaping an 87 tbi into my 82 no biggie but the 87 was auto tranny and the 82 is a 4 speed will there be any quirks in the injection or will it be good to go

Should be fine in 1987 the Tranny was not computer controlled so the computer does not look for it like the new vehicles do. As long as you provide a VSS signal to the ECM you should be AOK.
