trim adhesive removal

hey guys this might sound stupid, but when i got my truck the trim pieces on the doors were missing so i decided to take all of the trim off, it looks great but, the freakin glue does not wanna come off no matter what i do, does anybody have any tips on removing this glue from helll!!!!

If you go to an autobody supply shop they make a giant round eraser that fits in a drill. It does an excellent job of removing pin stripping and glue without harming the paint.
 
I've used acetone in the past, works awesome but make sure you are working in a well ventilated area and DO NOT get it on your skin.

Bingo on this, works wonders. I've used this myself and 100 times easier than any liquid remover.
 
The erasers are great, but I have fixed a number of burned panels done by detailers. Use it with care.

Anyone that has used the eraser method vs liquid remover method never goes back to the liquid hahaha.... The eraser works so well :D
