I want to replace the chrome trim on my truck. I checked out LMC. They have a kit. But is there another dealer that sells chrome trim?

How easy or hard is it to remove the old trim?

What trim? The body moulding stuff, or the stuff around the wheel wells, or?

GM may still sell the stuff LMC has, and probably cheaper, since LMC is likely repackaging GM stuff and marking it up accordingly, IF it's still available.

Not to jack this thread but, I'd like to use black trim from 89-91 Blazer. Mine is a 88. A little change but suttle.

It is the chrome moulding. It is for my 85 k5. i found that JC whitney has the same trim for half the price. BUt you have to cut it yourself. I guess I will order that. It is 70 bucks for 34 feet. The only prooblem I can see nwo is the corner pieces. I gues Ill have to shell out the 35 bucks for each corner. I think I am going to replace the wheel well trim to. I found that LMC has a full set for 60 bucks. I was able to peel off a section of the old trim. Now all I have to do is clean up the cheap double sided foam tape they used. I have some better stuff I am going to use for the new moulding. It is called VHB tape. 3M makes it. It's almos liek a rubberized double sided tape. That foam stuff tends to break apart.
