How is the trip odometer supposed to be reset. Since Ive had my 90 for over a year I didnt think it would reset but I was playing with it tonight and pushed really hard and turned it and the numbers went back to 0000. It was really hard to push and sometimes didnt catch. Just want to see what the deal is.

Yep...you figured it out /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I had to take mine apart and squirt some oil on it to free it up so it would turn.

Yeah they are pretty crappy actually. Just push in, kinda wiggle and turn at the same time. It's a tiny little plastic gear that meshes with another gear, and they must just wear out.

I was suprised to see the little metal shaft (which has a spring on it to keep the gears un-meshed until its pushed in) looked rusty. The truck has lived in the So Cal desert since it was new. Not too hard to take the whole panel out and clean & lube everything. I started mine because I had such bad speedo bounce I needed to pull the cable and lube it, one thing led to the next.
