Sticking with my goal of doing a bunch of wheeling and actually snapping some pictures this summer chevysmithz71 and I took to the trails together this weekend on a local run called Moonlight Madness. It's a big poker run that starts as the sun sets.
We chose to spectate and essentially run the trail ahead (along with a BUNCH of other guys) and stop at the cool spots to watch the group doing the poker run hit stuff.

Not too many pics because it's at night but here's a few...

We were cracking up at all the stacked rocks. They go through a few days in advance and stack them up as the universal symbol for "go this way". I think some of them got a little out of hand. :haha:

I've seen this up on a tree near the lookout tower on a few trips but never had my camera with me. Luckily chevysmithz71 was on it this trip. Kind of a cool little piece out in the middle of nowhere.

Sun setting as we're heading out to get a good spot for the shenanigans.

You could see all the way back into the city. Kind of cool.

So we sat around all night until after midnight watching guys bounce off rocks. :waytogo:

So before we were at the poker run we were at a retreat higher up the same mountain range with a bunch of guys from our church and I was messing around on a rock pile up there and got more damage than when we were actually on the trail the next day. :doah:

Hit the diff cover pretty good a couple times, leaking some gear oil (hope it stops, watching it), driver's fender is kinda screwy now, added some character scrapes to the front yoke, drive shaft and rear driveshaft, smashed my temporary crossmember, blew out the 1330 joint at the front of the 205 and kissed the bottom of the 205.

I'll toss in a new u-joint and get going on my full belly skid.

Was just thinking that!!!

Good stuff avery :thumb:

Yep, just trying to decide how I'm going to make access easier to the adapter bolts. I check them before every trip and don't mind taking out a couple bolts to do so but don't want it to be too big of a pain.

Taking a break and working on other stuff this week but I'll get back on it soon enough. I need to go pick up a bunch of plate.
