I'm going on a 4000 miles trip to eastern europe this summer, what do I need of spare parts? I will run mostly on the highway.

I'm assuming you must not live in the US? Either that or you have one heck or a snorkel on that Blazer to make it to Europe! As for spare parts. Carry stuff like a jack, tools, hoses, belts, fluids and anything you think you might need on a trip......anything you feel you might need and would be lost if you didn't have it and just can't go pick up easily if you find yourself stuck somewhere.....

Take a small set of tools, belts, a pry bar (incase you have to put a belt on), fluids, and I found a nifty thing...it's tape for radiator hoses. you just wrap it around the hole if you get one and it works pretty good! It'll at least get you somewhere where you can buy a hose. And if you'll be out in the middle of nowhere, a gas can. Also a kushy thing for your butt, cause atfer 4000 miles, ya might need it! LOL! I carry belts, radiator hose tape, small set of tools, and fluids around with me all the time. Along with my pry bar, tow rope, hitch....could go on forever!

Thank, for the tip, I will of course have a service on my K5 before the trip, by the way it was 4000 Km not miles
and yes i don't live in USA but i south Norway.

Check things like your starter, battery, radiator and stuff that's hard to carry a spare of but will leave you stranded real quick. Carry the mentioned items and a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, flashlight, flares, jumper cables, rain-x(works great if your wiper motor craps out during hurricane season, dont ask

). Make sure that your spare tire is in good shape and is full of air. And take some rags & hand cleaner because a greasy steering wheel sucks

This would be more in-depth, but you didn't fill out your profile so we no nothing about your truck. Anyway, in addition to what has been mentioned already: an ECM, one long plug wire, tire plug kit, rear drive shaft u-joints & a small "C" press to install, and a spare axle shaft.
