I picked up this bike a couple of years ago becaue I like projects.
It had been painted with a spray can flat black.
I tore it down and rebuilt it. Enjoyed it for a while and now want to let someone else enjoy it.
Bike is a 1998 T509 Triumph Speed Triple 885cc with about 29,000 miles on it.
The frame and wheels were poweder coated a light gold color. Every other part on the bike was powerder coated black. I replaced much of the body work with new stuff and had it painted British Racing Green (actually a 2008 Porsche color). The seats were custom made for the bike by Luimoto in Canada.
We recently put new brake pads on the bike, serviced the valves, replaced the battery, new grips, new dual frame sliders, new fron sprocket, new speedo cable, new rear license plate holder.
Bike has a custom Rizoma gauge cluster (a VERY rare piece), blue flame carbon fiber exahust, new aluminum fuel filler, new LED tail light.
Bike is about 95% on it's way to a perfect custom bike. Needs a few little touches to finish it off. I just don't really have the time to work on the last details.
