About 3 days of taking ownership of my '72 Burb....I used it to tow Zakk's beast on a nice 4+ hour trip. It was a great "maiden voyage".....no problems... and "The Green Machine" won over the disbelievers among us.... but there were still many new people to meet. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Well last weekend, once again, Trogdor came to the rescue! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif We had a white water rafting trip scheduled for 8 people and only had two vehicles....as it turns out, a friend borrowed "Mini Me" and used it to carry a bunch of coolers and camping equipment to the site. So I loaded up a total of 6 people and all their gear into the 'ol Burb, flipped on the dual-zone A/C and we had a great time all the way there.....in total comfort!

It was really great hearing everyone rave about Trogdor, and how comfortable it was.....and of course how "retro" it is. In this day and age of homogenized, plastic covered SUV appliances....it is refreshing to drive something TRULY different.

It ain't retro, it's original /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif!! When you absolutely, positively have to haul every sumbitch in sight, accept no substitutes!!

Burbs rock!
Here is my burb and what it was bought to tow.

That 454 hardly notices that 22ft airstream behind it. Can't wait to get the Airstream restored and take some long hauls in it.

.....now with a pic added!

Don't bother telling me that there are too many people in the pic, a couple of those guys were acutally in "Mini Me" and the camera-woman (not pictured obviously) was riding shotgun in Trogdor.

Good times!!
