trouble at hollister hills... truck wont start

ok so i just got a jigsaw from my neighbor. im gonna cut a 20'' x 20'' hole in the back of my truck and get to work tomorrow. only problem is i dont wanna ignite the gas fumes from the tank. and i think gas might of splashed up on the underside of the truck where ill be sawing so that might be a problem. im gonna wash it down and put a piece of linoleum between the tank and the truck to guard against sparks... if there are any which i doubt there will be. any ideas? tips? i dont want to blow myself out of the water here

Youll be fine just dont cut the hoses and stuff coming out of the tank
