I just put a crate 350 in my '88 Jimmy, but when a tried to start it, it wouldn't turn over. After splashin a little gas directly into the carb it turned over and then of course ran out of gas, so I know that I have spark when I can get gas into the cylinders. I have replaced the fuel pump, in line filter, injectors and pressure regulator trying to fix this, but none of it has worked, I know my lines arent clogged because I turned the fuel pump on without the TBI connected and it sprayed gas. My next guess is a problem with the ECU, but wanted to consult this board before I spent any more money on this problem. Has anybody encountered this problem, or know of anything I could be doing wrong? I would greatly appreciate any help.

The ignition module could be bad, it is what sends a signal to the ECM to let it know the engine is cranking and to fire the injectors. This module can be bad but still have spark and vice versa.
