Anyone have problems with High angle Driveline, I ordered some parts September 3, was told 2 weeks, called on the oct 29, they said it was a material shortage, was told it would ship on the 1st, still haven’t received it, not sure what to do…

He does quality work, but not the fastest service. I live 11 miles away and it took a month (two week quote) to have my two shafts shorted and reassembled. I supplied all parts too.

I had a long wait last year. I ordered a CV, flange and hardware (parts only), he had to do some pilot hub modifications and quoted about 4-6 weeks but it ultimately took almost 3 months (ordered mid Sept, rec'd late Nov). I called about every week starting at the 5 week mark, sometimes he answered but most of the time it went to vm. It was frustrating but I did get all my parts and never had to threaten cancellation, etc. No one else had one of the parts so I just had to be (extra) patient. I'd order from HAD again but I would also plan on a longer ETA than quoted.

Edit: my delay was also "material shortage".

As a general rule, I keep very detailed notes on big orders like including with dates / times of follow up calls / email just in case I have to dispute the transaction. Always have more info than the seller is prepared to fight in those scenarios.

I was worried that I was going to have the same problem when I ordered a Stage II 4L80E transmission rebuild kit from Jakes Performance Transmission. He warns people right up front on his web site that there is a material shortage, and it could take up to 6 to 8 weeks to get some orders in (maybe even longer depending on which part). I got lucky, and the kit came in in the 2-weeks he said it could take.

Have never used HAD, I am glad they didn't burn down in that devastating fire.
Long delays seems to be nothing new, but probably worse, as the community is still not whole.
Idk what you are looking for, but check this outfit out.
I have used them a few times and had good service

Specifically i needed parts for a 205 e brake, i had a kit for an atlas, but need one for a 205

I can see how the shop burning down could affect the lead times.:eek1: However, supply chain is horrible everywhere, due to the government forced shutdowns all over the world. Many parts I need are over 1 year lead-time at this point. It doesn't mean the parts will show up in 52 weeks if I order now. It means nobody can predict it, due to wildly fluctuating orders, capacity and hoarding.

They moved from paradise to Chico. I didn't catch that. I need to stop by I Chico sometime soon and visit my cousin

Atleast i paid with my discover card so i can easily dispute it, but i really think he makes good quality.

I called again yesterday was told its race week, my daily driver blew a piston, been on foot for over a month, have 12 weeks in, told jesse i will cancel on Monday, i hen he promised it will be sent…

Took me 2 1/2 years to get my sewn seat covers for another project. Hang in there.
