Ok I need assistance. I have a 99 Silverado with a 6.0. It is having trouble starting. It turns over fine just seems to not get fuel takes few trys to get it to fire up. It just started doing it few days ago. I put new plugs and wires on today thinking it was the issue but no luck. This is my DD so kinda need to figure this out fast. Any ideas as to where to start.

2 more things, either the pressure regulator could be bad, and letting the pressure bleed off, or the pump could do it also. just turn the key on for a couple sec. before you crank.

The fuel pressure regulator diaphragm ruptures and leaks fuel into the vacuum line causing a looooong crank time. Super common problem, parts stores usually stock them by the box, cost around 70 bucks.

Pull the vacuum line off of the pressure regulator, if fuel dribbles out of the regulator it's time for a new one.

The only other thing I see that causes hard strarting (at least without setting the check engine light) is super dirty injectors. Not very common but it does happen. PM me if the regulator isn't leaking and I can tell you how to clean the injectors. Most methods will not effectively clean this style of injector.
