Trying to get the cruise up and running in my '91 K5. Everything is stock. Just replaced the Turn signal/Wiper arm, ran the new cruise wire down the column. That was a pain!

So far I have replaced/checked:

- Brake vacuum line
- Brake wire harness
- Wiper arm harness
- Vacuum hose to vacuum tank
- Vacuum to manifold
- Wire harness at cruise module by throttle body
- The fuse

So far, no luck. I get nothing. Anyone got some tips in hunting this gremlin?

Thanks!

I've got pictures I could upload, but it would take awhile. Go to the link in my signature, download the service manual that most closely reflects your rig, and use that. In my manual (1990 R/V) the Cruise diagnostics are under "accessories", which is chapter 9.

check the actuator? linkage? CC module? The module on my '90 went bad.

I see what I did there, where might, on the truck, I find the CC module? Days off tmrw and Thursday, gonna hit it hard and try to get this fixed.

There is a small vacuum switch on the steering column you could check. When you replaced the wire down the steering column you may have seen it. It has the vacuum line routed along the same wire you replaced.

and according to my factory electrical manual is located "behind I/P, on LH side of steering column".
