Truck Avenger Carb. 670 CFM

Hey guys! I just put this carb on my 83 k5. Everything is perfect except a squealing noise at idle. Can anyone help me, I have a mud bog tomorrow. When I tap the gas it stops and then comes back.

let me guess you have a intake that accepts either spreadbore or squarebore? if so and you are not using a adapter plate between intake and carb. what that noise is the gasket sticking into the airflow path! kinda sounds like taking a blade of grass bteween your hands and whistling? you can trim the gasket to match the spreadbore shape and that will help! /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif
