Truck Bed Fianlly!!

Looks mean, I always liked the step side beds. I think red would also look good on the bed and would save you having to repaint the insides of the door jams. Nice looking truck.
 
Well as soon as I can find a chevy gate for a step side, they are hard to come by, with out have to order one from lmc. and gmc or chevy same asselembly line does it really matter.

i will need help when it comes to swapping the body onto the other frame, but that won't be for a few months.

i say red also, its looks so good on the front half.

Looks good. I like the stance and overall body lines/shapes. I agree, paint the bed red. I've just never seen very many red GM trucks around here and like the color on them.
 
Well I guess I will have to paint it red, Im hoping to put in fuel tank and spare in the bed here is a pic i drew. Im not sure if Im gonna put the highlift in the bed or outside above the wheel well.

Yea it will definitely have a lock on it no matter where i put it.

Hey Boggerless, I know have Plate's and Insurance on it. the plate has BCW for the letter's, Wife Said Big Chevy Wheels' LOL I finished everything up on it today I will test drive it tomorrow.
 
so far I have owned 3 gmc trucks and all of them had chevy tailgates. they also have all had the passengerside taillight busted out and lucky me I have a pile of driverside lenses.:doah:

I have seen people with stepsides mount their hi-lift standing straight up alongside the bed, between the fender and back of cab.
