truck hesitates

just wondering got my engine rebuilt and when i went out for a test drive i push the gas and it sounds like it barelly wants to move and real slow it starts to accelerate, it does this everytime i stop. why is this??

Sounds to me like your timing isn't right. Check the weights in the distributor to make sure they aren't stuck.
