TRUCK IS SMASHED

I HAVE AN 87 K5 AND YESTERDAY SOME IDIOT SMASHED INTO MY TRUCK WHILE I WAS PARKED WAITING TO MAKE A LEFT, SO MY WHOLE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR IS SMASHED, MY FENDER IS SMASHED AND MY QUARTERPANEL AND ROCKER PANEL ARE ALL DAMAGED MY QUESTION IS WHERE SHOULD I GET THE PARTS FROM I WAS WONDERING THE QUALITY OF LMC AND YEAR ONE'S DOORS AND FENDERS. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP

Did the guy have insurance?
Unless I was getting a lot of cash that could be used towards something else on the truck after the repairs, I'd let a body shop do it with only GM pannels. Bet his car doesn't look so good.

Whatever you do, DONT buy from JC whitney. I bought some panels from them and I took me twice as long to install them because I had to straighten and rebend their body lines which didnt line up. I also got 2 panels with large dents in them.

That bites! Not that it matters, but what was the other vehicle and how bad was the damage on it?

My 89 was hit in the parking lot a few years back. It was a hit and run. At least you got this guys insurance info, right?
