I am deploying at the end of the month and my K5 will not be driven while I am gone. It will pretty much just sit in the garage. Question is how often should I get my wife to go out and fire it up. My main concern is scoring the cylinders I don't want to get rust build up. It is pretty dry here in San Diego but I still think it will get some surface rust.
Any input is appreciated. Driving it is out of the question since the tires have to be aired down to get in and out of the garage and then re-aired to go driving. Add to that the fact my wife will not actually drive it I am reserved to just letting it idle in the garage.
Thanks
Dik
