The retaining fingers for the MAP sensor are super small & brittle on truck LS intake manifold. I now have 2 intakes with broken clips. Is there a consensus fix for this situation?

At this time I figure I will plug the sensor into the manifold & leave it as is, because the manifold is under vacuum it should be held in place. Maybe a little RTV to adhere it in place would be appropriate.

What do you guys do?

I have one side broken and honestly have just left it, zero issues. I probably would just use a strategic zip tie if I had to...

I have not broken one yet, but I have destroyed the red seal thingy trying to remove the sensor. Gut feel is that silicone would hold everything tight, but could make future MAP troubleshooting problematic.

The 8.1 uses the same sensor in an aluminum intake, secured with a bolt and washer. You could probably drill holes for zip ties in adjacent locations or epoxy some kind of mount to secure but facilitate future swaps. The nearby boss with brass insert would be a good place for a fabricated hold-down bracket.
