Truck Mate???

Lookin at a 90 Burb' .Guy thought it was a Waldoch, turns out it's a "Truck Mate" conversion. It's got a big ass wooden center console and different seats.

Any body got any other info on these "Truck Mate" conversions?

I was looking at a 3/4 ton '90 4x4 'burb that is a Starcraft Edition. It sounds a lot like what you are talking about. It has wood center console and overhead console, with 4 captain's chairs(all pillow top and plush) and then a normal 3rd seat(except pillow top to match others). You reminded me, I should call her back, cuz that thing is pretty cool IMO.

I think the interior is ugly. One of the reasons why i'm gonna pass on this one.

It looks like a conversion van on the inside.

looks comfortable. You can always remove all the "custom woodwork" and install OEM stuff. For some reason I like the conversions with the raised "van" roofs.

Can't help with info, but mine was a minor conversion. It had a center console similar to that one, a CD Changer in the back and an overhead console that was about 4 feet long. All that has been ripped out . It did come with the factory seats though.
