hows the steering on that? looks like you were taking the turning real easy. any issues?

they are 20 ton rockwells with 53 inch loader tires for now :D (hopefully get my big tires here in a few months)

steering is pretty easy . . don't think i got it completely full . . everytime i move it gotta fill it up . . damn cylinder is leaking (full hydro) so either gotta get that rebuilt or buy a new one . . . .only issue right now is trying to keep the axles under it . . gotta get my ladder bars onit soon . .
these are pics from the first time i moved it last week or so . . .
didn't get down on it just pulled it out in the street and backed it back in the yard . . dang weight and gear reduction

Does this thing go in the rocks at all? or just mud? Cause I would be worried about that tie-rod grabbing rocks

well i run mostly mud . . wanna try a rock here or there just cuz i know alot of people that go and would go with the group . . was talking about running telico but dunno .. . . .tires have pretty good tread . . thinking about grooving em just because . . opening em up . . tread is pretty much 3/4 deep on all but one tire . . then the side lugs are pretty deep .. thinking if i run rocks i'd run em backwards but dunno

WOW! Big mombo. I thought it sounded like open headers.

20 ton axles?? So what kind of gear ratio.

Looks like if you go bigger tires you will need a little trimming.
approximately 16.67:1 reduction in the axles . .

plan on about another foot or so of lift and 67x34 logging tires

I would definitly groove/sipe those tires, it would increase their rock and mud performance

I can't wait to see the 67's on there. What kinda driveline are you running? Good looking rig.

still don't think it's gonna help much. . . needa get my bars under it . . i mean never did that with 44's and stuff but alot of weight and tire to move . . i figure threw gear reduction putting 53,000 ft-lbs of torque down . . . alot of twisting on the spring . . . . so defently gotta get my bars under it but thanks for the suggestion

oops miss read something . . the tierod . . well had an issue the axle rotated the wrong way (set up for rear engine) so flipped em upside down . . now the tie-rod is going above the pinion . . if it worked the other way i was gonna change it anyhow . .

:bow:Thats a sick rig you got there, is it safe on that trailer
i think once i put my heavier tires on the trailer and cut the fenders a little it ll be fine . . . . the trailer is built to the hilt other then the axles are a little small . . it has 6 inch I beams running down it and 3 inch I beams running accross

am on the look out for about a 40 foot low boy 5th wheel trailer though
