I'm hoping that the gov-lock carrier from an '89 2wd 3.42 rear axle will swap into a '96 4x4 housing with 3.73 gears. Or I wish there was an easy way to "make" a 6 lug 14 bolt FF disk brake rear.
Two other Chevy IFS trucks and my 'Burb had a pulloff in the 1/2 ton gas class since we all went more than 300 feet but less than the 315 ft "full pull". They increased the rate that the weight comes up for the pull off... and it killed my 10 bolt rear.
I'm in the red/white 'Burb. The first video is the gas class... except for the 30 seconds of a radical deisel Dodge idleing.There were many more competitors, but we only taped a few and then left to go get the trailer to haul home my 'Burb. The second video is of some cool smokers they had there.
