Anyone ever do it in the stock class? Here after all the real competition they have the "stock" or as I call it drunk farmer class. Pulled my k10 to 199' but cleaned all the teeth of the 10 bolt after a hitting a dip. Want to pull the k30 this year. Not sure what I should do to the suspension.

No idea on the suspension mods for a pull.

But a few years ago, when we still lived in Bellevue, my wife came home from the art gallery in Louisville, and said she had briefly stopped to watch mud bogs at a truck event somewhere outside Springfield. First thing she says: "...they all got 10-bolts...":D

That's one hell of a wife you got there jms:wink1:

As for mods, some kind of axle stabilizer to control wheelhop, locker, and re-gear to as low as you want. Other than that, it's not "stock"

Get a copy of the rules....if they allow block the suspension up solid as high as they allow hitch height in the back. The more hitch height you lose the more footage you lose going down the track.

Example my (Pro) Street Diesel class is allowed a 26" hitch height in the back. I have a set of top link/3rd Arms mounted to the bottom of my rear U-bolts and to the bottom of my rear spring shackle mount. It allows me to adjust the height of my hitch as well as stiffens my suspension in not allowing it to compress when the sled is back there. I also run some adjustable bump stops bolted in place of my factory bumpstops. They are just LARGE bolts screwed into a long nut welded to a piece of flat stock.

My suspension does not compress on my puller even with the 30K lbs sled behind it! :D

I suggest a torque arm of some kind. I have the ord arm and it made a huge diff in how the suspension reacts.

Its suppose to be stock but last time I blocked up the suspension. I think I will take a load binder and go around the axle and go back to the bumper. My hitch 36" high now and I have a 5" drop I could flip over. Really no rules at all. Mostly just no weight but they let you pile in as many people as you want.
