truck shutters

Last night my truck began to shutter (whole thing shakes real bad). Its done this before while I was towing a trailer but only when the truck was beginning to move. I drove it in all gears to see if it continued and it would do it again at approximately the same time. I haven't hooked up a tach to completely rule out the driveshaft, could it be the tranny or axle? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Tranny mount?....mine shuddered on takeoff...pretty much went away after I got goin..

It seems to go away after I get going and seems to occur when it shifts but not completely. I'll replace the tranny mount to see if that fixes it.

I crawled under the truck this afternoon and checked the
tranny mounts and u joints. Both seemed okay, but I'll still probably replace the tranny mounts. Is there anything else that might cause the truck to shake as described above?

not to sound insulting but is your trany really low?

and onl 2 wd truck i had did this when i did not hook up my cooler lines up tight enuff and emptyed my trans, would shake on shifts and cruseing. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
