Okley dokely. Im swapping my current drivetrain and suspension over to a 73 k20. Im wondering if ill be able to use the hood and the front clip off my 85? I have doors as well, which i think are the same.

Will my windshield wipers bolt on the 73?

I saw there was a tech article on here but its like a 80s k5 to 90s swap...

Lastly I have a frame boxing kit for just the front of my 85....will that work on the 73? It seems like it should...

Doors are same.
You will need to swap the hood and hinges and rad support over from the newer truck.
Wipers are the same as far as I can remember.
Not sure on the box kit.

I have everything to put it all on. I suppose if the hood and fenders fit then itll all workout?

It should fit. I've never tried it, but I have seen square-light trucks with round-light core supports. So it has been done before.

Swapping the front clip onto the older cab requires a little work , i would cut the mounting points for the fenders off of the cab of the k-5 the newer 81 and up have different hinges and mounting points , the wipers are a bit different also you can take it off of the blazer and make it fit though.

Hmm can i adapt if i have the hinges for the 85? I havent looked at that area yet.
