Truck tailgate on '86 K5...how?

Hi, I've seen this mentioned but haven't actually seen it in a detailed, step-by-step thread or article...and no pics.

I'm just curious, how much custom work is needed to pull this off, or is it a bolt-on affair?

Bolt on affair if you get all the mounting hardware from the truck. You'll need the tailgate, hinges, the bars that hold it up when open, & the latches. The K5 already has the holes in the bedside to mount it.
