truck vinal wrap

i was thinking about doing a vinal wrap insted of a paint job.
what would be the pro's and con's doing a vinal rap on my truck.

wraps can be cheaper but have a short life span. Around the 3 year range

i have kicked around the idea alot about getting my boat done and i came to the conclusion that paint is better, even if its cheap. my buddy just got his dodge painted by this guy for $900 and it turned out flawless, so shop around and get it painted

Buddy is a sign and wrap guy. I have helped him install 20 or so wraps. Semi's, cargo bodies, etc. They will show way more crap than a mediocre paint job and can run like 1100 bucks. Unless you own a coke truck or roto rooter business and need major advertising paint it.
