I got her started about two hours ago, but now nothing. Some Facts:

454 GM - 750 Double Pumper Holley - New Plugs

I suspect problem with carb setup - Truck usualy starts at end of starter/key turn (after holding key at start(starter cranking over engine fine) and on the way back to run on key - the engine will putter a few times and start. intermittent before and now won't start at all.

When she starts it'l stay running.

CAP AND ROTOR?

PLEASE HELP

In the other thread, someone mentioned the ignition switch. Look into that. You could bypass it with a jumper to see if that's it, or you could just try a new switch (they are quite cheap - I keep a spare in my console, along with a brake light switch, and a few other things).

to test to see if your ignition switch is bad just hot wire it go to the12volt.com get the wiring diagram to install an alarm and it will tell you the colors take the "constant 12v" and "ignition" touch them together all your dash shiotand radio should come on as if the key was in the "run" position keeping those 2wires together and just a quick touch to the "Starter" wire should make it crank if it does then its your ignition switch but of course dont use this info for theifing cars :)

red=constant12v pink=ignition purlple=starter
heres a shioty paint diagram and remember to use the 2fuses
the color wires on this are for 1978-87 Chevrolet C/K Pickup
