Hey guys i started to put my body lift on today.

It was going smoothe unitl i hadto actually lift the body up.

I was using a 4point hydrolic lift and lifted both sides at the same time.

Here comes the problem, somehow my body has shifted 1inch back and i cant figure out how to slide it back so i can bolt it to the chassis. I want to toss the body lift for now and just get the body back on the frame, then later do the traditional way, by doing one side at a time. All i need to know is the best way to slide the body so i can get it back ontop of the mounts and so i can get my bolts thru agian.

Thanks Againnnnn

John

i do it all the time this way. you must block the tires first. the frame rolled on you. pick it up and rool frame back to the correct spot.

You mean like a shop lift? If so, why not move the chassis back (instead of the body)?

Are the tailgate springs still attached to the frame?

i tried that, but its just not working. can i put it in neutral with the auto shifter or can i just use the 4wd shifter.

when i tried the tires would spin on the ground as i pushed on them but the chassis wouldent move.

Thats The Problem!! Tailgate Springs!!! Thank You. My Tailgate Sounded Funny And I Had No Idea What It Was.
